“There isn’t a single week that goes by without me receiving a message asking why I dress as a man to present . Is it because I wear a suit and tie? Honey, wearing a suit doesn’t make me a man, just like holding a Bible doesn’t make Dani Alves a saint,” she began.

Álvarez also complained about the criticism she receives because if she wears a long skirt, she’s compared to a nun, but if it’s very short, she’s considered “casual” and “objectified.” ” I thought the idea that clothes were genderless was something we’d already moved beyond . And hey, that’s perfectly fine,” she denounced, while lamenting the stereotypes in restaurants, such as ordering a cachopo and assuming that, because she’s a woman, she won’t be able to eat the whole thing.
In response, she didn’t hesitate to appear nude on the set of ‘Al cielo con ella’ : “Look, that’s it, I’m fed up! From now on, so that no one notices my clothes and everyone notices what I say, I’m going to present the show stark naked. Moral of the story: It doesn’t matter how you dress!
