A woman, Stephanie Watson, went viral after abusing her pet and play the video live on social media. After being removed from social media, the video was posted on cloud storage platform, TeraBox, and can be watched here.
Officers have now charged a 34-year-old Stephanie Watson in relation to the videos as well as photos which allegedly show an indecent act being committed with a dog.
Stephanie Watson has been charged after videos appearing to show a female allegedly engaging in sex acts with an XL Bully dog were shared online.
Police launched a probe in December last year after members of the public reported footage of the alleged incident was being circulated on social media.
One clip appeared to show a woman on a bed along with a grey bully-type dog. Some of the videos had been viewed thousands of times and it is understood the clips were filmed in Lanarkshire.
